District Athletics – We are the Champions!

Wye School athletes produced a phenomenal set of results at this year’s District Athletics competition. Of our 6 teams that entered, 5 of them finished in the top 3, with some outstanding results by individuals in a range of events. There were 8 schools competing in each age and gender category from around the district and we are by far the smallest school so to finish so strongly is a great credit to them all and their teachers.
Our most impressive result was the combined result of the Year 7 and 8 girls in the Junior competition which placed them as District Champions and recipients of the District Shield which we are proudly displaying in our reception. Congratulations to all students who took part in the day.
