Enrichment Week

A key part of our Enrichment Programme is our annual Enrichment Week, which takes place towards the end of every academic year. Enrichment Week consists of a variety of trips and activities either in-school or off-site. All students within Years 7-10 and Year 12 are given the chance to take part in a residential trip during this week or participate in a combination of day trips and activities organised in school. Our in-school activities programme gives a broad range of choices and options for students who opt not to be on a trip for that day ensuring that all students have the opportunity to maximise the benefits of the week.

In previous years, we have added the following international and residential trips:

  • Berlin and Auschwitz for Year 10 and 12 students
  • Barcelona Sports Tour for Year 8 and 9 students
  • South of France Language trip for Year 10 students
  • Rockley Watersports activities week for Years 9, 10 and 12 students
  • Adur Activity Centre for Year 7 and 8 students

Those students who choose not to participate in a residential activity, have the option to take part in activities on the school site and in the village as well as day trips, including:

  • Theatre in London
  • Natural History Museum, London
  • Harry Potter Studios
  • Howletts Zoo
  • Rye Watersports
  • Bedgebury Mountain Biking and Go Ape
  • Chatham Snow Sports
  • Climbing Experience, Maidstone
  • Dover Castle
  • Canterbury Beanie and Roman museums
  • Wildwood
  • Science Observatory, Herstmonceux
  • CEMA (Centre for Experimental Archaeological Military History)
