The government has released the official league tables for last year.  Wye has been confirmed as having above average results for the second year in a row.  Our Progress 8 score in particular of +0.33 compares with a national average of -0.03 and a Kent average of -0.11.  We are very proud to be the top non-selective school in our area for Progress 8, and indeed ahead of a number of selective schools, and one of the top in all of Kent.

Wye School is proud to have launched the drive to achieve the award for Eco-Schools

Wye School is proud to have launched the drive to achieve the award for Eco-Schools.

This is a student led initiative which looks at 10 environmental issues around the school and community and takes action to make each area more sustainable. We have elected our committee; parents, governor, teacher and a representative from each year group. Watch this space for the report coming up next term on how we currently stand as a school and what action we are going to take to get us closer to the Green Flag.
