Principal's Welcome

Wye School, which opened in September 2013, is an all-ability, co-educational school serving up to 600 students aged 11 to 16. It is part of United Learning – a group of over 70 independent schools and academies across the country.

Our drive is to provide an excellent standard of education for the whole community which supports and develops each and every individual to be the very best they can be. As part of this, we provide an education with character, which encompasses our core values of Respect, Determination and Ambition; these values are a central part of our decision making and our interactions with students.

We are oversubscribed in all years and successfully deliver GCSEs for 120 students each year and help them move on to strong Post 16 A Level and vocational courses and apprenticeships. From the start of our journey we have had very strong exam outcomes, regularly at the top of the Kent league tables with consistently positive progress scores, the most recent being Progress 8 +0.35.

We are proud to be a happy, vibrant, and supportive school community. We hope that you find all the information you need on this website. Communication is important to us; please make contact if you have any queries or would like to arrange a visit.
