EPQ is an acronym for Extended Project Qualification. EPQ is a fantastic way to make yourself stand out when applying for university as it is an extra qualification that can further your interest in other subjects that are not linked with the A levels you are taking. It can also help you understand something you did not know a lot about. It helps you to learn how to research and use articles properly without plagiarizing them. It helps you understand that you cannot just copy and paste key points from an article, you must cite the article or otherwise it is classed as cheating. An EPQ can help distinguish you from others and can give you an advantage if you do not get the grades, you need as it counts as an AS level.  You either must draft a 5000-word essay or the artifact, where you must draft a 3000-word essay about the thing you have made.  This cannot link with any of the subjects you do at A-level as you would already have a vast knowledge about the subject. EPQ can teach you how to research efficiently and can help you in your other subjects with detailed full answers.
