Wye Progress 8 results are above national, Kent and Free School averages
The government has published its first look at GCSE results in 2017/18 and found that Free Schools were the best performing group of schools, with an average Progress 8 score of +0.24, compared to an average of -0.02 for all schools in England. Wye School, with +0.3, was above both national average and the average for the best performing group of Free Schools. Wye was also ahead of all the local non-selective schools and the three local boy's grammar schools. This news reinforces how proud we are of our first cohort of Year 11 students and their excellent results.
