Last weeks Boys Football
The boys played their first football fixture this week against Towers School. We took the lead in the first half with a well worked goal scored by Adam Lloyd. By half time, Towers had come back in to the game leading 2 – 1. After discussing our defensive tactics at half time, we looked stronger with Samuel Stevens fiercely defending our goal from left back and Ben Edge continuing to make fine saves in goal. A slick ball produced from our midfield duo of Toby Hutchison and Joshua Spinks led to Adam Lloyd beating the keeper and earning us a well fought 2 – 2 draw.
