Year 7 and 8 pupils have been working tirelessly to create the most beautiful advent calendar for the window of Catherine Hughes Associates in Wye (Church Street). The calendar contains sculptures of characters that are either traditional or have a modern Christmas twist, from Dracula kings, skeleton shepherds and Simon Cowell to Bethlehem made out of presents! The calendar is a comment on the modern values and ideas behind Christmas and how we may be losing some of our traditions. It is a fantastic piece of art that the pupils should be really proud of. Go and see it for yourself and watch the characters appear over this advent period.
