Yesterday Jamie, Mark, Elliot and Jess embarked on an epic cross country adventure to get to the United App finals where they were pitching to win £25,000 worth of investment in their app idea.
The journey started in Wye at 6am with the team arriving in Warwick at 10:30am. They pitched their World Changers App idea and the judges were hugely impressed with their grasp of international issues, desire to help other people and the ambitious scope of their app. They came 3rd place, a feat not to be sniffed at in a nationwide competition with 444 competing teams, and brought home a handsome trophy. Congratulations to the team, whose hard work and dedication really shone through. We are incredibly proud of them all.
