Due to all the hard work and enthusiasm that went into our food and book collection projects as part of the school’s Free the Children enrichment, a group of students went to this year’s WE day event at Wembley arena on Wednesday 9th March. It was a memorable trip for them and here are some of their comments:
“WE day was amazing! The people there all had different and touching stories that sent out an important message to all viewers: No matter what happens, you can accomplish your dreams, no matter how big they are! It made me feel so good about what we have done as a group”.
“I found WE day very inspirational as the people who came to this event told everyone their stories and they were very motivating. At the end of the event it inspired me to help others around the world.”
“WE day was really inspiring and I enjoyed the speakers and singers”
“To see people from such poor backgrounds making such amazing achievements is breath taking. It makes you really rethink your contributions.”
“I’ve learnt to not stop helping because there is always someone in need somewhere in the world”.
