The validated government league tables were published today and confirmed that our second set of GCSE results for Aug 19 were above national and local averages.

Luke Magee, Principal of Wye School, said of their above average Progress 8 score of +0.33:

“We are very proud to be the top non-selective school in our area for Progress 8 and one of the top in all of Kent. We firmly believe in the ability of all our students – no matter their background or starting point – to achieve highly so it is hugely gratifying to see this borne out in the progress they are making.

“We have now had two excellent sets of GCSE results since opening in 2013, reflecting the hard work, determination and enthusiasm which cascades down throughout our school. With our founding cohort due to receive their first set of A Levels this summer, we are looking forward to celebrating another successful year at Wye School.”
