Year 10 Media Conference

On Wednesday 9th November a group of talented Year 10 students attended the annual Media Conference at the Central Theatre in Chatham. This year's conference had the theme of gender and the morning consisted of speeches from A’ Level students about the representation of gender through the medium of film. The afternoon was a screening of an Irish film, Sing Street, which dealt with the concept of gender. Next year's conference is based on the media concept of genre and a group of our Year 10 students have already volunteered to present at this conference,  alongside A’ Level students from schools across the area.
